I really should have shared this photo yesterday, but forgot I had it on my phone, so it's better late than never. This is my Pop (my Mum's Dad). His name was Eric Charles Jenkins and when he was in the army, his mates called him Snowy becasue of his fair hair. I struggled doing this page as I hadn't (at the time) done a 'vintage' layout. I ended up photocopying his medals, which my brother has, and I loved how they turned out. I titled it, 'The Man I Never Knew' because I didn't ever know him as a young man. He passed away in 1989, so he was always only ever old. I still remember his smell... His passing was my first experience with death within my family - it was heart-breaking to see someone so strong become so helpless... He was a very good man <3

Just a quick share as I can't sleep - it's 4.17am! A lot of my layouts are done for on-line challenge groups, as it helps to inspire me to actually sit down to scrap. This was done for Scrapsidaisy Scraplift Challenges where they offer a weekly challenge with prizes. This was my first 'win' with them. I really enjoyed doing this layout :)

This is a sneak of my latest project - something I seem to always have trouble with is clustering. No matter how hard I try, it just doesn't look right! I'm hoping that with practice, I will eventually 'get it'!

This is the reason I scrap - so these guys can look back and remember their childhood, not to mention so that their kids can know what it was like too! X

Welcome to my Crafty Space! I want somewhere to keep all my craftiness together (although I'm not all together upstairs sometimes!) I hope this works! As some of you know I'm not very computer savvy, so this is going to be a trial for the time being... I hope I can inspire some of you, and if not at least I will have everything in one place. X
